The media is treating the H1N1 swine flu as if it is a health crisis that is finished, but that is not true. The health crisis continues for those who continue to experience severe reactions to the H1N1 vaccine. On December 10th, one of our readers took the H1N1 vaccine, and the he recently shared his very disturbing story with us: I am 48 years old and received the H1N1 shot on Dec 10 2009. The next day I was sent to the hospital by my doctor thinking I was having a heart attack. My heart is fine I was very healthy before the shot. These are my side effects which are getting worse; severe joint pain, numbness in finger and toes, headaches, red spots on chest, bluriness, and fatigue. I wish I wouldnt have listened to my doctor to get the H1N1 shot because I was only in there on Dec 10 for my physical. All the doctors which include a family doctor, neurologist, rheumotologist, and determatoligist have told me I have a viral joint infection due to the H1N1 shot. They told me that it needs to run its course but I am getting worse.

I am 71 yrs old, received my H1N1 in early Dec in the right arm, since then I have developed severe right shoulder joint pain, also in my right hip and like the story above numbness in my fingers and feet. I also feel just down and out, which is not like me at all. I have been told that I’m just getting older, but that’s not me at all. I am very active.
On January 21, 2010 I received the H1N1 (Lot # Santiup)which was mandatory by the School District. Two weeks afterwards my joints(wrists, knees and ankles) were very swollen and in pain. My fingers were stiff and painfull. I had never experience joint pain in my life. Why isn’t the government advising the public of the severe side effects the vaccine causes. Have the doctors been indoctrinated to say that the H1N1 does not cause side effects. What side effects are causing the small children that can’t express their feeling. Is there anyone who can convince the media to expose the the harmful side effects from the vaccine in national TV. Please Help.
I am an Airman in the Air Force. I was forced to take the shot here on base. I was an athlete, very active, I am only 20 years old. I ran track, ski’ed, was in perfect health in every way, after I recieved the vaccine, I can’t sleep, I am always tired, I developed weird rashes on my shoulders, I am only 20 and I have hip pain all of a sudden in my right hip, I did not hurt it, it was the shot.
I have severe joint pain in my wrists, ankles, fingers, feet, ankles, and left knee -basically I ache all over & feel horrible. On 12-15-09 I was required by my employer to get the H1N1 flu vaccine–or I could not work. My gut instinct said NO!–but I did it anyway. In Jan I started having a dry cough that only happened when I was sleeping. A few weeks later I started having pain and swelling in my joints. I have severe headaches at times and my skin on my hands has changed. I am short of breath and exhausted. I am 48yrs old and have never been over weight or sick (other than colds). With my kids in college I had decided it was time for me to do something for me–I had been running and biking and felt great! Now I can barely get out of bed or do my house chores. PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS SHOT!!!
is there a profession such as vaccine immunologist to sort this out

had the jab november 09 started with pain in groin and under arm pit then major headaches cramp in my legs rash on my face shoulder and neck pains earache sore tonghe stabing pains all over my body this is criminal what these people have done to us for seven months ive suffered my doctor as just addmitted he as known about this condition for two months

I received the h1n1 vaccine on nov. 9th, 2009. 20 min. later i had dizziness, burning in brain, chest, and legs. I couldn’t speak, arms and legs went limp, swelling in face.,my husband got me to hospital and at this time i was having severe shakes, and they gave me meds for shaking. over next days at home my memory went, sat catonic in chair, heavy head, loss in space, chills, loss of weight, etc. My neck and head felt swollen and unable to move neck. Doctors said i don’t know and nobody was doing anything. We asked about steroids, plasma pheresis, . I resigned as teacher because i couldnt think, function. my tongue turned green , hair fell out, lost 22 pounds, hives, vision started going at 4th week. Sound was so sensitive and everyone had to whisper around me. Still no treatment. I was told maybe stressed by other doctors. my initial doctors new i had reaction but still no help. didn’t sleep for 1st 2 months . brain felt fried. spine became numb and now has pain about 4 inches in middle.I am now lost, vision problems, personality not mine, weight gain, can’t think fast, can’t do more than 1 task, can’t teach, .. I have 4 beautiful children whom have lost their mom and doctors still say or do nothing. if anyone else has answers please let me know.
I took the injection 12-23-09, but I fought until Dec., 2010 to get help – and a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. I was put on Neurontin (Gabapentin) for the Fibromyalgia pain. But the best part of being prescribed Gabapentin – I found out by accident – is it is an anti-viral medication! So I have been able to control the progression of the ‘fibromyalgia’ to some degree – not stopping or curing it, but slowing it down. The Gabapentin helps the hurting joint and bone pain, the vision problems, the burning sensation in the skin, mouth, and face. I was convinced long before being put on the Gabapentin that I had developed a virus. With the anti-viral properties of this med, now I am undeniably certain. Hope this helps somebody.
