A shot only lasts a moment but the pain can last a lifetime. That especially seems to be true for many people who have been receiving the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. For many who have gotten the H1N1 vaccine, they are now living with pain and discomfort that the doctors cannot seem to help them with. Today we wanted to share the story of a reader named Kathy. After getting the H1N1 vaccine in November, Kathy developed severe leg pain that has continued to the present time. This pain is so bad that she is basically unable to sleep. The following is Kathy's story: I received the H1N1 shot in mid November. That night, I felt like I had drank about 40 cups of coffee, and my legs ached so badly I was in tears. It is now March 4, and I am now scheduled to see a rheumatologist and a neurologist as the pain I'm having is severe and has not let up. I can't sleep, because of the pain, and if I do fall asleep, the pain wakes me and is severe when I try to turn over. My legs are weak and tremble. Both legs are affected equally. Sometimes "pain" is a hard side effect to classify, especially when it cannot be identified with a specific underlying condition. But that doesn't make it any less real. A lot of people are reporting that they have experienced horrible pain of one kind or another after receiving the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. The following are two stories from our readers where they relate the kinds of pain that they experienced after getting the vaccine. 
A lot of people out there are experiencing serious pain after getting the H1N1 swine flu vaccine and they don't know what to do about it. One reader of this site recently posted a comment on another article about how she has been experiencing significant pain in both hips since getting the H1N1 swine flu vaccine back on December 7th. Unfortunately she is far from alone. A lot of people who have taken the shot are now looking back and are wishing that they had never done it. Doctors will not be much help for these kinds of side effects either. Some medical doctors will insist that these side effects have nothing to do with the H1N1 vaccine (since it is presumed to be perfectly safe), which other doctors will just pass out some pain pills to deal with it. The truth is that most doctors aren't even trained in the detoxification methods which may be able to help in some of these cases.
