The Tragic Flu Vaccine Horror Story Of NFL Cheerleader Desiree Jennings

One of the very few stories about flu vaccine side effects that have slipped into the mainstream media is the tragic flu vaccine horror story of NFL cheerleader Desiree Jennings.  Earlier this year, Desiree Jennings was a vibrant 25 year old women who was training to run a half marathon and who was excited about being a cheerleader for the Washington Redskins.  But then she got a seasonal flu vaccine shot at a local grocery store. That is when her life radically changed.  10 days after the shot, Desiree began experiencing very bad flu symptoms which were followed by severe convulsions and black outs.  Very quickly after that she developed a debilitating and supposedly irreversible neurological disease known as dystonia that left her barely able to walk or talk as you will see in the videos posted below.

Jennings was frantic, so with her husband she began searching for answers.  She says that she visited approximately 60 doctors in an attempt to find out what in the world was wrong with her.  Finally, doctors at Fairfax Inova and Johns Hopkins diagnosed Desiree with a rare neurological disorder known as dystonia. They said that Desiree developed this condition due to a severe reaction to the seasonal flu vaccine.

So just what is dystonia?  Dystonia is a paralyzing neurological disorder that causes the muscles to relentlessly contract and spasm.  It is very difficult to treat dystonia using conventional medical methods, and usually dystonia only gets worse over time.

At the time, Desiree told WUSA News that she was absolutely convinced that it was the seasonal flu vaccine that brought on her dystonia.....

"Nothing else explains such a fast moving neurological damage. The medical hospitals ruled out everything, CAT scans normal, blood normal, MRI normal. The only thing that explains it is the shot caused the neurological damage."

Desiree's husband Brendan added this.....

"It gets worse everyday. It's heartbreaking to see."

The FDA actually did an investigation and they concluded that there was "nothing wrong" with the particular batch of flu vaccine that Desiree's shot came from.

In other words, this was nothing out of the ordinary.

It could happen to anyone.

Fortunately, Desiree was able to get connected with Dr. Rashid A. Buttar at the Center for Advanced Medicine and Clinical Research in Charlotte, North Carolina.  According to her blog, Desiree can now walk and talk normally most of the time and the seizures and convulsions have significantly decreased.  She hopes to eventually experience a full recovery.

She is using her website, www.DesireeJennings.com, to warn others about the dangers of vaccines.  Her story could have had a much more tragic ending, but fortunately she was able to get pointed in the direction of cutting edge treatment and therapy for flu vaccine side effects.

Not everyone is so fortunate.
